Software Development Engineer II – Fuse

About the role

Join the Fuse tech team to build innovative subscription services that power Amazon marketplaces. You will design and deliver low‑latency solutions across front‑end, middle‑tier and back‑end systems while evaluating new technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑performance microservices using Java and AWS services (DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, SNS).
• Own end‑to‑end delivery: scoping, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Enable new external vendors on Amazon marketplaces through robust integration points.
• Identify, prototype, and evaluate emerging technology options to solve complex problems.
• Collaborate with a cross‑functional, startup‑like team to drive product excellence.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years designing or architecting scalable systems (design patterns, reliability).
• 1+ years building large‑scale, multi‑tiered, distributed applications using C#, C++, Java or Perl.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
• Ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
