Site Manager – Construction

About the role

The Site Manager will coordinate all on‑site construction activities for a renewable‑energy project in Wasco, Oregon. Working closely with the Owner’s Project Manager, you will ensure schedule, safety, cost and quality targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily construction activities to meet the project schedule and contract requirements.
• Monitor construction productivity, report trends, and implement schedule recovery plans when needed.
• Lead daily coordination meetings with field staff and contractors, and oversee the construction completion walk‑down and punch‑list close‑out.
• Act as the on‑site Safety Representative in the absence of the Owner’s Safety Supervisor.
• Review extra‑work authorizations, back‑charges and subcontractor payment requests, ensuring timely tracking.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Construction Manager, preferably in renewable energy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred; State Electrical Journeyman or Master License is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work in varied outdoor conditions.

Required skills

• Experience managing solar‑energy, wind‑energy or transmission‑line projects of $20 M+.
• Strong knowledge of construction principles and practices.
• Proven ability to manage subcontracts and self‑perform work.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholder relations.
