About the role
Horrocks is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer to lead site development projects from concept through construction. You will own the full project lifecycle, delivering technical designs and coordinating with clients and contractors.
Key responsibilities
- Develop project work plans, scopes, and schedules.
- Prepare roadway, grading, drainage, water, and sewer plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Produce technical memoranda, design plans, specifications, and reports.
- Perform calculations, construct specifications, and obtain permits across jurisdictions.
- Create construction cost models and provide probable cost estimates.
- Maintain client and team communications, conduct regular meetings, and coordinate construction activities.
Required profile
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or ability to obtain within one year.
- 3‑8 years of progressive civil engineering experience.
- Strong self‑direction, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
