Shop Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Shop Assistant to keep our build floor running and support the engineering team at Sentradel, which builds autonomous counter‑drone systems.

Key responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and prepare metal stock and raw materials for builds.
• Receive shipments, track parts, and stage materials for projects.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked shop environment.
• Support engineers and the wider team with build‑related tasks.
• Operate basic shop equipment and hand/power tools safely.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, mechanically inclined and comfortable with physical work.
• Reliable, punctual, detail‑oriented and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good attitude, takes initiative and works well with others.
• Must be a US person (citizen or green‑card holder).

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and cutting equipment.
• Experience in metal fabrication or preparation.
