SEO/GEO Manager

About the role

DAC is seeking an SEO/GEO Manager to lead organic search strategy and geographic optimization for client brands. You will act as the resident expert on all things SEO, from on‑page copy to schema, and guide the development of content that performs well in both traditional search engines and generative AI responses.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, launch, and manage client SEO campaigns in partnership with SEO Directors.
• Conduct audience, brand, category, and competitive research to define content themes.
• Perform comprehensive SEO/GEO audits (URL structure, navigation, canonicalization, sitemaps, robots.txt, tags, schema.org markup, etc.) and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Develop and execute GEO strategies to improve brand visibility in AI engines such as Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini, and AI Overviews.
• Structure content for LLM ingestion, including entity optimization, semantic markup, and authoritative citations.
• Monitor brand presence in generative engine results using tools like Otterly.ai and SEMrush AI Overview Tracker.
• Optimize on‑page elements and oversee off‑page tactics such as article syndication to boost domain authority.
• Report program status to account teams and support client calls with technical insights.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and experience with technical audits.
• Familiarity with GEO optimization and AI‑driven search environments.
• Ability to translate research insights into actionable content strategies.
• Excellent analytical skills and a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
