Senior Turf & Ornamentals Sales Representative – Texas

About the role

BASF Agricultural Solutions is seeking a Senior Turf & Ornamentals Sales Representative to drive growth in South Texas, covering Houston, College Station and San Antonio. You will act as the face of BASF to customers, partners and industry influencers, promoting innovative turf and ornamental solutions while delivering sustainable value.

Key responsibilities

• Promote BASF innovations and expand the product portfolio through field activities and solution development.
• Manage a defined sales territory, achieving yearly sales targets within budget.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key end‑users and distribution partners.
• Present and administer marketing programs, and participate in special sales projects.
• Provide biology and product training to end‑users and distributors.
• Report top opportunities through strategic monthly reviews and communicate across the business.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with agronomic industry experience (turf, ornamentals, lawn care or related fields).
• Direct sales experience or equivalent experience in turf superintendent, lawn‑care or ornamental roles.
• Formal sales training and strong customer‑focus with entrepreneurial mindset.
• Proven account and territory management/planning abilities.
