Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

About the role

You'll be building the infrastructure that some of the largest online communities in the world depend on to function. The problems aren't hypothetical: state‑sponsored disinformation, CSAM reporting, coordinated abuse at scale. The software you build is used daily by reviewers, investigators, and Trust & Safety leads making the calls that define what a platform stands for.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI agents that review content against customer policies, exposing a configurable spec that customers can edit and deploy.
• Extend the workflow engine built on Restate, adding durable execution nodes that customers wire together for moderation pipelines, reporting, and enforcement.
• Enhance the review‑queue UI with features such as QA decision overrides, attribute‑level labeling, forms, and skills‑based routing.
• Build analytics and metrics dashboards using a React frontend backed by a Django/GraphQL API.
• Implement two‑way user communications integrations (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk) so moderators can contact users without leaving the platform.
• Define SLIs, improve pipeline throughput, and own on‑call responsibilities to ensure reliability at scale.

Required profile

• 5+ years building production software across the stack (Django, React, relational databases, messaging systems).
• Proven ability to identify customer problems and deliver end‑to‑end solutions without a traditional PM‑led process.
• Experience with high‑throughput, data‑intensive systems and a solid grasp of latency and scalability trade‑offs.
• Fluency with AI tooling and code generation, using AI to enhance development productivity.
• End‑to‑end ownership of features from data model through API to UI.
• Clear written communication for a distributed team and customer‑facing documentation.
