Senior SEO, GEO, & AEO Specialist - Home Services

About the role

We are seeking a high‑energy, technically strong SEO professional to lead the search strategy for a top‑50 U.S. home‑services brand. The role goes beyond classic SEO execution and includes optimizing for emerging AI‑driven discovery platforms such as Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies across multiple service areas and geographic markets, including keyword research, SERP analysis and performance monitoring.
• Implement GEO and AEO tactics to increase brand visibility on AI platforms like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Perplexity.
• Conduct technical SEO audits, fix crawl, indexation and Core Web Vitals issues, and work directly in WordPress to optimise page structure, schema and internal linking.
• Lead content strategy using AI tools, create briefs, edit AI‑generated drafts and fill content gaps for service, location and FAQ pages.
• Manage local SEO, optimise Google Business Profiles and analyse Maps visibility for multi‑location businesses.
• Drive off‑page authority through backlink acquisition, digital PR and citation building.
• Analyse data from GA4, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs and Looker Studio to connect SEO activity with leads, appointments and revenue.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional SEO experience with proven organic growth results.
• Self‑motivated, highly organized and comfortable working independently under fast‑moving conditions.
• Data‑driven analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Experience in home‑services sectors (roofing, HVAC, plumbing, etc.) is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Technical SEO tools: Screaming Frog, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, redirects.
• WordPress site management, HTML, CSS and schema markup.
• SEO analytics platforms: Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, SEMrush, Ahrefs.
• AI and automation tools: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, n8n, Zapier, Make.
