Senior SAP HCM Consultant (Remote US)

About the role

As a Senior SAP HCM Consultant at Infosys, you will join a consulting team that defines problem statements, evaluates solution options and delivers recommendations. You will design detailed architecture, create process artifacts, implement deployment plans and support knowledge transfer to help clients meet evolving global requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed design, architecture and process documentation for SAP HCM solutions.
• Implement deployment plans and ensure successful rollout.
• Provide knowledge transfer and consulting guidance to client teams.
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to troubleshoot and deliver solutions.
• Travel to project or client locations as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent (or three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education).
• At least 4 years of IT experience, including 4 years of SAP HCM functional experience.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency due to IL4 data handling requirements.
• Ability to work extended periods at a computer and communicate effectively by phone, email or face‑to‑face.

Required skills

• SAP HCM functional expertise (payroll, time evaluation, master data management).
• CATS integration experience.
• FICO integration (Labor Allocation) experience.
• Knowledge of infotypes, schemas, PCRs and wage‑type configuration.
• Familiarity with S/4HANA HCM Compatibility Pack.
• Ability to write functional specifications and work with ABAP for enhancements.
• Experience with incident/ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Remedy or Jira.
