Senior Project Manager – Major Roadway

About the role

DRMP is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead major roadway and transportation infrastructure projects across the Tampa Bay and Florida Gulf Coast region. The role builds on existing client relationships with agencies such as Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, FDOT, and regional transportation authorities, and supports the firm’s strategic growth in one of the state’s fastest‑expanding markets.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with client managers to deepen relationships and identify new opportunities with key transportation agencies.
• Lead pursuit activities, including proposal development, technical responses, and interview presentations.
• Manage complex roadway projects, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Mentor project managers and junior staff, fostering a collaborative and technically strong team environment.
• Ensure high‑quality delivery that reinforces DRMP’s reputation for technical excellence and responsive service.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 15–20+ years of progressive experience in transportation engineering and project management.
• Proven track record managing major roadway projects for FDOT, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, tolling authorities, or comparable agencies.
• Deep familiarity with Florida transportation procurement and delivery processes.
• Experience supporting large‑scale pursuits and technical proposal development.
