Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead strategic facility projects across United Health Services hospitals in New York. You will develop comprehensive project plans, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure that all work aligns with budget, schedule, and patient‑care priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed project plans, work schedules, and resource allocations.
• Manage bids, vendor proposals, and RFP processes to meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Lead daily site visits, risk assessments, and monitor progress to protect patient‑care environments.
• Oversee financial performance, including budget tracking, change orders, and capital requisitions.
• Coordinate internal staff, external consultants, contractors, and facilitate stakeholder meetings, including MEP coordination.
• Prepare and manage project documentation such as permits, ICRA, ILSM, and final acceptance reports.
• Drive project closeout activities, including equipment installation, staff training, and transition planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of project or construction management experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Proven ability to interpret floor plans and manage complex facilities projects.
• PMI‑PMP certification preferred; CAPM acceptable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and review architectural and engineering drawings.
• Experience using CAD software for project planning.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
