Senior Project Manager – Fire & Life Safety

About the role

Siemens is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead fire and life‑safety projects for hospitals, universities and industrial facilities. The role supports the Albuquerque, NM branch and serves customers across the greater El Paso, TX and Las Cruces, NM area.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate project specifications, drawings and related documents, and develop comprehensive schedules in coordination with the team.
• Oversee procurement of supplies and materials, and participate in cost reviews to ensure financial efficiency.
• Assist the Operations Manager in contracting and coordinating subcontractors, aligning activities with scope, schedule, budget and safety regulations.
• Conduct orientations for project technicians and provide all necessary documentation, including scopes of work, technical drawings and engineered diagrams.
• Track project resources and progress, document schedule or scope impacts, and pursue change‑order opportunities.
• Manage billing coordination with accounting, schedule commissioning resources, expedite mark‑ups for as‑built development, and ensure timely close‑out documentation.

Required profile

• High school diploma or state‑recognized GED.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on construction project management experience, including coordination with subcontractors, schedule and cost control, and delivery of projects in accordance with contracts.
