Senior Procurement Analyst

About the role

The Senior Procurement Analyst leads end‑to‑end procurement and contracting activities for U.S. operations and projects. Reporting to the CFO with matrix reporting to the Supply Chain Lead, the role partners closely with the COO and Operations Director to secure the best goods, equipment, and services while ensuring cost‑effectiveness and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a qualified supplier database, including pre‑qualification and onboarding.
• Plan and execute competitive sourcing events (RFI, RFQ, RFP) and prepare business cases.
• Perform total cost of ownership and should‑cost analyses to support award recommendations.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing indexes, SLAs, and risk clauses; finalize MSAs and project contracts with Legal.
• Advise senior leadership on sourcing strategies, balancing cost, quality, delivery, risk, and schedule.
• Lead contracting for goods, equipment, and services, ensuring clear scope and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with Finance, HR, IT, Projects, Operations, Engineering, and Legal to align requirements and budgets.
• Manage supplier performance through KPIs and optimize procure‑to‑pay processes in SAP.
• Monitor market trends, develop mitigation plans, and support sustainability and supplier‑diversity goals.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of procurement or supply‑chain experience in medium to large U.S. companies.
• Proven track record of managing full‑cycle sourcing events and contract negotiations.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in TCO and cost‑benefit analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence senior leadership.
