Senior Network Engineer

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join its Financial Services unit, supporting clients across the United States. The role involves designing, deploying and maintaining network infrastructure for banking, wealth management and insurance projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and document preventive recommendations.
• Evaluate client IT environments, produce assessment reports and identify infrastructure maturity and improvement opportunities.
• Design scalable, cost‑effective network solutions, review reusable components and create technical documentation for deployments.
• Coordinate release schedules, execute deployments, conduct post‑deployment testing and manage version control.
• Plan and oversee maintenance windows, emergency fixes and technology upgrades while ensuring seamless integration.
• Analyze performance data, provide insights on system behavior and support capacity‑planning activities.
• Conduct security checks, recovery drills and compliance audits, implementing required security measures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in incident management and root‑cause analysis for network environments.
• Background in assessing and improving IT infrastructure maturity.
• Demonstrated ability to design and document scalable network architectures.
• Experience with deployment processes, release coordination and version control.
• Knowledge of maintenance planning, emergency response and technology upgrades.
• Strong analytical skills for performance monitoring and capacity planning.
• Familiarity with security assessments, recovery testing and compliance auditing.
