Network Engineer – Enterprise Routing & Security

About the role

The Network Engineer designs, implements, operates, and improves R+L Carriers’ enterprise routing, switching, wireless, security, wide‑area and data‑center networks. This role guarantees reliable, secure connectivity for terminals, offices, data centers, cloud services and business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy routing, switching, wireless, SD‑WAN, firewall, load‑balancing and data‑center network solutions, translating business requirements into secure, supportable architectures.
• Monitor network health, performance and capacity; diagnose and resolve complex connectivity, routing, switching, wireless and security incidents.
• Plan, test, document and execute network changes, upgrades, site deployments and infrastructure projects while coordinating with vendors, carriers and field teams.
• Implement network segmentation, access controls and vulnerability remediation; maintain accurate diagrams, inventories and procedures for audits and disaster‑recovery tests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Active CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge.
• 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience, including routing, switching, wireless, security, WAN and data‑center architectures.
• Proven experience leading technical changes, troubleshooting complex incidents and delivering network projects.
