Senior Manager, Global Benefits

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Global Benefits function. Based in Fort Worth, TX, you will shape non‑insured benefit strategies worldwide, ensuring competitiveness, regulatory compliance, and equitable treatment across all geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct benchmarking and strategic analysis to align benefits with market standards.
• Provide benefits analysis and recommend plan changes in partnership with regional teams.
• Design and execute employee surveys and business cases to drive meaningful improvements.
• Oversee global legal and statutory benefit requirements, ensuring regional execution and compliance.
• Manage non‑US benefit programs, including vendor contracts, plan updates, and issue resolution.
• Develop and implement international benefits pooling strategies.
• Lead cross‑region statutory initiatives such as EU Pay Transparency and minimum benefit standards.
• Coordinate the management of all non‑insured benefits (excluding retirement) and support M&A benefit integration.
• Communicate global benefit plans and changes to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (e.g., high school + 15 years, associate + 11 years, master’s + relevant years).
• Extensive experience in global benefits design, analysis, and governance.
• Proven track record of managing statutory compliance and vendor relationships.
• Strong project‑leadership skills across multiple regions.
• Experience with benefits harmonization, pooling strategies, and M&A integration.
