Senior Maintenance Supervisor for Avana Hamptons & Avana Chestnut

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the technical and mechanical operations of the Avana Hamptons and Avana Chestnut communities in Puyallup, WA. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common‑area amenities meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality while staying within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all work orders generated from resident service requests.
• Oversee routine upkeep, preventive maintenance and emergency repairs in accordance with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Lead the “make‑ready” process to prepare vacant units for new tenants, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
• Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, schedule shifts, and provide training and performance feedback.
• Monitor budgets, track expenses and report on key performance indicators related to maintenance operations.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment, inventory and compliance documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in property or facilities maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire safety.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑service orientation.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work on‑site in Puyallup.

Required skills
