Senior IT Project Manager – Digital Visitor Experience

About the role

The Senior IT Project Manager will lead large‑scale, consumer‑facing technology initiatives that improve both digital and on‑site visitor experiences for a globally recognized nonprofit arts organization based in Los Angeles.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and close complex technical projects from concept through implementation.
• Manage multiple concurrent initiatives with inter‑dependencies across engineering, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration with software engineers, system administrators, product teams, and external vendors.
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, risk registers, and vendor relationships.
• Prepare executive‑level reports, presentations, and stakeholder communications.
• Develop change‑management strategies to drive adoption of new digital platforms.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing complex, consumer‑facing technical projects.
• Proven ability to lead end‑to‑end projects, including scope, budget, timeline, and risk management.
• Strong experience working with cross‑functional technical teams, especially engineering and infrastructure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
