Senior Instructional Designer

About the role

The Senior Instructional Designer serves as the strategic and creative leader for instructional design within the Medical Strategy and Knowledge Advancement (MSKA) team. This full‑time, on‑site role drives the development of innovative, high‑quality educational content, oversees design standards, mentors team members, and ensures training materials support internal stakeholders and the field sales organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable educational materials, establish instructional design standards, and provide mentorship to designers.
• Oversee creation of engaging training content using adult learning theory, multimedia best practices, and ensure compliance with quality and brand standards.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to translate complex medical concepts into accessible learning experiences and support in‑person and virtual training sessions.
• Manage project scope, timelines, and resources for training initiatives and contribute to the optimization of the Learning Management System.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, educational technology, or medical/scientific content creation.
• Proven experience leading design initiatives or mentoring content development teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality output.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and digital training platforms.
