Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own and evolve the foundational systems that power Casca’s AI‑driven lending platform. You’ll build and maintain the cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and observability systems that enable rapid, reliable delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Own infrastructure‑as‑code (AWS CDK, Terraform, Pulumi) for resources across AWS and Cloudflare.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for multiple environments.
• Develop and improve observability stacks – metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting.
• Create internal tooling and automation to reduce toil and accelerate developer workflows.
• Drive reliability initiatives such as capacity planning, failure‑mode analysis, disaster recovery, and incident response.
• Collaborate with product engineers to ensure systems are operationally sound from day one.

Required profile

• 5+ years in infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE roles building systems used daily by engineers.
• Strong production‑grade coding ability in Python, Go, TypeScript or Rust.
• Deep experience with AWS core services and related networking, IAM, databases and storage.
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CDK, Pulumi) and CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, BuildKite or similar).
• Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker) and running production workloads.
• Experience building and operating observability stacks and handling distributed‑system failure modes.
