Senior Human Resources Manager – Football & Academy Operations

About the role

San Diego FC is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to lead HR strategy for its Football and Academy operations at the Sharp HealthCare Performance Center. Reporting to the SVP of Human Resources, you will shape the employee experience, drive talent acquisition, and champion a culture of inclusion and high performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle recruiting and workforce planning for Football and Academy teams.
• Partner with leadership to create inclusive job descriptions and manage immigration, relocation, and work‑authorization processes.
• Design and continuously improve onboarding programs for new hires.
• Champion learning and development initiatives, including compliance and safeguarding training.
• Provide HR advisory on employee relations, performance, and workplace concerns.
• Drive employee engagement, recognition, and team‑building activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR business partner or manager in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong ability to build trusted relationships with leaders and employees.
