Senior Human Resources Generalist

About the role

Coco is a fast‑growing robotics company transforming last‑mile delivery. We are looking for a hands‑on Senior HR Generalist to own the employee lifecycle, build HR foundations, and support a rapidly scaling team in our Venice office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, off‑boarding, records, and HR administration.
• Design, document, and implement scalable HR policies, procedures, and playbooks.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations, handling issues with discretion and ensuring compliance with multi‑state employment laws.
• Support recruiting operations using Ashby, coordinate interviews, and continuously improve the new‑hire onboarding experience.

Required profile

• 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience in both startup and corporate environments.
• Proven ability to build HR foundations, including policies, procedures, and scalable processes.
• Strong knowledge of multi‑state employment laws and HR best practices.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy.
• Professional, approachable communicator with excellent judgment.

Required skills

• Experience with Rippling HRIS (strongly preferred).
• Experience using Ashby or a comparable applicant tracking system.
