Senior Frontend Engineer – React (Remote, USA)

About the role

Close is seeking a seasoned frontend engineer to build AI‑powered interfaces in its single‑page TypeScript React application. The position is fully remote for candidates located in the United States and offers the chance to work on product teams such as Agents, Communications, CRM, or Growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement UI components for AI‑driven agent experiences, including conversational interfaces and observability surfaces.
• Develop real‑time in‑call features using WebRTC and WebSockets, such as live transcripts, coaching views, and power‑dialing flows.
• Build core CRM surfaces like lead pages, pipeline views, and smart search, integrating AI‑enhanced functionality.
• Collaborate with product and design teams from wireframes through Figma to production code, ensuring performance and usability.

Required profile

• Seasoned frontend engineer with deep React expertise and experience across other frameworks (Vue, Svelte, Solid) when appropriate.
• Proven track record building AI‑powered interfaces and handling streamed responses, uncertain states, and agent‑driven UIs.
• Builder mindset: ship early iterations, iterate quickly, and use AI tools (Claude Code, Codex) in daily workflow.
