Senior Facilities Operations Control Representative

About the role

The University of Miami Health System is seeking a Senior Facilities Operations Control Representative to ensure smooth day‑to‑day facility functions. This full‑time, onsite position supports the service desk, mentors junior staff, and resolves complex operational issues.

Key responsibilities

• Enter, analyze, and report data to management.
• Monitor alarm notifications from electronic systems, security, and email, ensuring accurate reporting.
• Generate work orders from correspondence or phone calls.
• Respond to inquiries, questions, and concerns from staff and stakeholders.
• Facilitate work order control and management processes.
• Assist in training less‑experienced team members.
• Maintain detailed, organized records and support accident‑report documentation.
• Adhere to university policies and safeguard assets.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent (or relevant experience, certification, or license).
• Minimum three years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated learning agility and ability to adapt to new procedures and technologies.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
