Senior Engineer, Infra Platform

About the role

Invesco’s Infrastructure Engineering team is looking for a Senior Engineer to design, build, and operate the core platform services that support its global technology environment. You will work on a large‑scale Unix/Linux estate, ensuring stability, performance, and security for critical business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise infrastructure platform services and related tooling.
• Analyse requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and apply best‑practice standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver projects and enhancements.
• Support continuous improvement of processes and information flow.
• Contribute to platform stability through monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of core engineering principles, methods, and technologies.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with stakeholders.
• Proven track record of delivering high‑quality technical solutions.
