Senior Director HR Business Partner

About the role

The Senior Director HR Business Partner will shape talent strategies that drive business success, foster a high‑performance culture, and enable organizational agility across global commercial teams. Reporting to senior leadership, this role operates at the enterprise level, influencing multiple business units in a fast‑paced biotech/pharma environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute talent strategies, succession planning, and career development programs that support growth and leadership readiness.
• Partner with senior leaders across Global, U.S., and International Commercial teams to translate business priorities into organizational and talent implications.
• Lead business transformation initiatives, implementing new operating models and ways of working.
• Drive organizational effectiveness, culture change, and management development initiatives.
• Develop and implement global HR strategies with enterprise‑wide impact.
• Create strategic workforce plans, including capability and long‑term talent planning for development, manufacturing, and commercial functions.
• Leverage data, analytics, and storytelling to influence decision‑making and support business strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of progressive HR Business Partner experience in life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical organizations.
• Proven experience supporting commercial or customer‑facing functions.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders across multiple functions in complex, fast‑paced environments.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced education is a plus.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaborative skills.
• Strategic thinker with business acumen and disciplined project‑management capabilities.
• Agile, resilient, and able to make sound decisions under pressure.
