Senior Director, Data Architecture

About the role

Revecore is seeking a senior‑level individual contributor to lead enterprise data standards, cataloging, and ontology across its Snowflake data warehouse. The role focuses on establishing a single source of truth for finance, customer success, data science, engineering, and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and drive adoption of enterprise data standards, including naming conventions, metadata, quality rules, and reporting definitions.
• Select, implement, or extend a data catalog that provides discoverability, ownership, sensitivity classification, and usage guidance for core data assets.
• Develop a shared healthcare‑focused ontology and data dictionary that aligns definitions across business units.
• Define and enforce data lineage standards, enabling traceability from source systems to consumption.
• Serve as the hands‑on enterprise data architect for Snowflake schema design, domain modeling, and platform architecture decisions.
• Facilitate cross‑functional governance through data councils, decision‑rights frameworks, and change‑management processes.

Required profile

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in data architecture, data management, or enterprise data roles.
• Proven ability to influence and align diverse business functions without direct authority.
• Deep knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle, payer/provider, or patient financial services.
• Experience operating at a senior individual‑contributor level while representing data architecture in leadership forums.

Required skills

• Snowflake (or comparable cloud data warehouse) – data modeling, schema design, architecture trade‑offs.
• Data catalog/metadata tools such as Collibra, Alation, Atlan, DataHub, Purview, or Snowflake Horizon.
• Modern data‑stack components: ELT/ETL, dbt, Looker, Power BI, Tableau.
• Data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA‑DMBOK) and healthcare standards like X12, HL7/FHIR, CPT/ICD.
• Strong communication skills for consensus building across Finance, Data Science, Operations, Customer Success, and Engineering.
