Senior Data Analyst III – Generative AI Evaluation

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Generative AI Evaluation team within Elsevier, a RELX business. You will help assess and validate AI models that support healthcare decision‑making, ensuring they meet strict standards for accuracy, fairness and clinical relevance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering and build analytics frameworks for evaluating generative AI models in healthcare.
• Define strategic direction and manage the analytics roadmap for model evaluation.
• Collaborate with AI researchers, product managers, clinicians and engineers to deliver evaluation timelines and deliverables.
• Develop and deploy queries, metrics and data models to monitor AI performance and output quality.
• Conduct comprehensive QA of AI outputs, risk analysis and mitigation.
• Interpret HIPAA and other privacy regulations to handle PHI/PII securely.

Required profile

• 6‑9 years of experience in data analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or PhD in Mathematics/Science preferred.
• Proven thought leadership in analytics strategy and enterprise‑wide project implementation.
• Experience creating evaluation frameworks for AI models.

Required skills

• Python for data analysis.
• Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake or PostgreSQL.
• Tableau or PowerBI.
