Senior Automation Engineer (Remote Opportunity)

About the role

VetsEZ is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to support a federal healthcare modernization project. The role focuses on developing, validating, and automating an AI‑powered patient health data summarization capability within the Joint Longitudinal Viewer Clinical Decision Support platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans, cases, and acceptance criteria for AI‑driven patient summarization.
• Create traceability between business requirements, clinical data standards (C‑CDA), and test scenarios.
• Design test coverage for CCD, Discharge Summaries, Progress Notes, and History & Physical documents.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and user‑acceptance testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites for document ingestion, AI summarization, APIs, and UI components.
• Support CI/CD pipelines with automated quality gates and continuous testing.
• Build validation frameworks to evaluate AI‑generated summaries for completeness, accuracy, and reliability.
• Participate in defect triage, root‑cause analysis, and release‑readiness activities.

Required profile

• Strong healthcare interoperability experience.
• Knowledge of C‑CDA standards and experience testing complex healthcare applications.
• Hands‑on experience with test automation and AI‑enabled quality engineering.
• Must reside within the continental United States.
