Senior Accounting & Finance Consultant (Controller Level)

About the role

PROVE Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting and Finance Consultant at the controller level to work remotely. You will support accounting operations, financial reporting, treasury functions, and internal controls in a fast‑paced, globally distributed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes, including journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate classification of all transactions.
• Oversee accounting operations for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, commissions and fixed assets.
• Prepare cash reporting, budgeting support and treasury activities.
• Collaborate with operational and finance stakeholders to ensure cross‑functional alignment.

Required profile

• Significant experience in accounting and finance within healthcare finance, specialty finance, professional services or receivables management.
• Proven ability to work independently in a rapidly evolving organization.
• Strong knowledge of financial close, cash reporting and internal control processes.
• High level of accountability and attention to detail.
