Senior Account Executive – Public Relations

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Account Executive in Public Relations to join RH Strategic’s Seattle office. The role is ideal for PR professionals with 4‑6 years of agency experience who want to shape integrated communications programs and deepen client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Secure top‑tier media placements across print, digital and broadcast by leveraging relationships with reporters, editors and producers.
• Lead day‑to‑day execution of integrated communications programs, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and measurable progress.
• Develop and execute media‑relations strategies, including story identification, pitch creation and coverage acquisition.
• Translate complex client priorities into clear messaging that supports business goals.
• Analyze campaign performance, share insights and present actionable recommendations.
• Manage projects, workstreams and cross‑functional teams to meet deadlines, budgets and scope.
• Serve as a trusted client contact, providing strategic counsel and fostering long‑term relationships.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of public relations or strategic communications experience, including at least 2 years in a PR agency.
• Deep understanding of the media landscape with current relationships across national and influential outlets.
• Proven ability to translate complex technology, workforce development or education topics into compelling narratives.
• Experience developing media strategies, interview preparation, executive talking points and crisis communications.
