SAP FICO Consultant – Principal Consultant (Package Consultant 3)

About the role

Infosys is seeking a senior SAP FICO Consultant to join its Manufacturing unit in Elma, NY. The role focuses on designing, customizing, and integrating SAP Finance solutions for clients in automotive, aerospace, defense and industrial manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze complex business processes and draft detailed requirement specifications aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Define and develop solution architecture, steering customizations and integrations based on thorough business analysis.
• Design and implement advanced SAP customizations and collaborate with development teams on critical applications.
• Create and manage integration workflows linking SAP ERP with external systems, and lead large‑scale data migration initiatives.
• Implement performance‑optimization strategies for scalability, reliability and user experience, while ensuring compliance with security and industry standards.
• Produce comprehensive documentation and conduct training workshops for diverse user groups.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with SAP FI/CO and at least two end‑to‑end S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong expertise in ERP architecture, advanced customization, and integration design.
• Proven ability to lead large data migrations and performance‑tuning projects.
• Strategic mindset to align technical solutions with business goals and market trends.
• Deep understanding of compliance requirements, security protocols and industry best practices.
• Sector knowledge in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace or defense.
