RN - Leukemia/Blood and Marrow Transplant Unit - Kings Hwy

About the role

The Registered Nurse will lead patient care on the Leukemia, Blood and Marrow Transplant Unit, applying the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. The RN will delegate, direct, and support team members while ensuring high‑quality outcomes and cultural sensitivity.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing resources effectively.
• Analyze data to drive improvements and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Promote patient privacy, respect, and individualized communication.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and accreditation regulations.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
