Retail Execution Specialist

About the role

The Retail Execution Specialist inspects and improves retail execution for off‑premise key accounts within a defined territory, ensuring compliance with Constellation Brands Beer Division standards. The role works closely with wholesalers and internal sales managers to drive best‑practice execution and capture market intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Visit a rotating sample of key accounts, identify and correct planogram, mandate and authorization issues.
• Communicate execution findings to Market Development and Sales Managers and ensure follow‑up.
• Share best‑practice execution techniques with wholesalers and provide market intelligence to the Business Unit.
• Support wholesaler training initiatives and identify local business development opportunities.
• Conduct market surveys during promotional windows and collaborate on on‑ and off‑premise retail initiatives.
• Execute new‑product roll‑out plans, flag challenges and recommend actions.
• Identify code‑date or aging inventory problems and advise appropriate actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably with a sales/marketing focus.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal partners.
• Experience gathering and using customer feedback to uncover needs and opportunities.
• Willingness to travel at least 20% of the time and a valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Cognos 7/8.
• Retail Vision software.
