Remote Service Engineer – IGT Systems

About the role

Exciting opportunity to combine technical, networking, and customer interaction skills using remote access technologies to assist healthcare customers with Philips IGT Fixed Systems products.

Key responsibilities

• Provide telephone, remote technical support and remote diagnostics to external healthcare customers and field partners.
• Act as a Philips representative, handling customer inquiries via phone, email or chat.
• Resolve service events by leveraging Philips tools and resources, and escalate issues when needed.
• Utilize remote tools to avoid dispatching field service engineers and implement best‑practice process improvements.
• Drive productivity through effective troubleshooting and follow‑up actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment (field or hospital‑based).
• Experience with Philips Image Guided Therapy (IGT) Azurion and/or Allura systems.
• Associate degree in electronics or equivalent; BSEE/BSEET/BSME preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends and on‑call rotations.
• Ability to work safely with radiation sources and wear required PPE.

Required skills

• Knowledge of electronic, mechanical and networking theory for installation, diagnosis and repair.
• Proficiency with remote access technologies and Philips diagnostic imaging tools.
• Ability to use test equipment and specialized tools for troubleshooting.
