Registered Nurse – Women & Infants In-House Agency (IHA)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Women & Infants In‑House Agency (IHA) on a temporary, fixed‑term basis. This position supports the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centered care for women and newborns within the UAMS health system.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to women and infants in the IHA unit.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record.
• Adhere to UAMS policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning as needed.

Required profile

• Current University of Arkansas System employee (including student employees or graduate assistants) who can access Workday for application.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Required skills

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
