Registered Nurse – TOSH Operating Room

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is looking for a Registered Nurse to join the TOSH Operating Room (OR) within the ICE | MUSL | TOSH Operating Room department. This position is open to current University of Arkansas System employees, including student employees and graduate assistants, and will be performed on‑site in the OR environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to patients undergoing procedures in the TOSH Operating Room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and support staff to ensure safe and efficient OR operations.
• Follow departmental policies and the Summary of Job Duties as outlined by UAMS.

Required profile

• Current employee of the University of Arkansas System.
• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Ability to apply through Workday as instructed.
