Registered Nurse – Operating Room (TOSH)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the TOSH (Operating Room) department. This full‑time, day‑shift position supports surgical teams and ensures safe, high‑quality patient care during procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide peri‑operative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff to maintain a sterile environment.
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and document care accurately.
• Assist with equipment setup, instrument handling, and patient positioning.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection‑control standards.

Required profile

• Current RN license in the United States.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
