Real Estate Investment & Portfolio Analyst

About the role

Cerberus Real Estate Capital Management is looking for a motivated Analyst to join its North American Real Estate team in New York. The role supports asset management, fundraising, investor relations, and internal reporting for a diversified portfolio of opportunistic real‑estate investments.

Key responsibilities

• Support ongoing asset‑management activities across a diversified portfolio, including financial analysis, variance reporting, operating‑budget reviews and leasing updates.
• Coordinate with property managers, operating partners and third‑party advisors to execute business plans and maintain investment‑tracking materials such as hold/sell analyses, capital‑expenditure reviews and disposition strategies.
• Assist with LP communications, investor updates and ad‑hoc inquiries; prepare materials for existing and prospective limited partners, including DDQs, pitchbooks and fund marketing collateral.
• Prepare internal investment‑committee materials, asset‑management reports and quarterly/annual portfolio‑level reporting for senior management and fund stakeholders.
• Maintain internal databases and tracking systems related to investment activity, asset performance and fund metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Finance, Economics, Real Estate or a related field.
• Strong industry expertise and real‑estate knowledge with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple business areas, external parties and stakeholders.
