Ramp Agent – Full-Time

About the role

As a Ramp Agent you will be at the core of airport ground operations, handling baggage, cargo and aircraft servicing with speed and precision. The position is fast‑paced, outdoors and requires strong teamwork, safety awareness and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Lift, load, unload and transport baggage, mail and cargo to and from aircraft.
• Sort, scan and route checked baggage according to destination, priority and transfer requirements.
• Receive inbound transfer baggage and ensure timely delivery to outbound flights.
• Guide aircraft using hand signals and wing‑walking procedures.
• Service aircraft water and lavatory systems.
• Operate ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders and tow tractors safely.
• Use baggage scanners and computer systems to verify routing.
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and maintain a clean work environment.
• Communicate clearly with flight crews and ground personnel.
• Perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug test.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items and work in various weather conditions.
• Commitment to follow all federal, state, airport and carrier safety regulations.

Required skills

• Operation of ground handling equipment (tugs, belt loaders, tow tractors).
• Use of baggage scanning and routing computer systems.
