Supply Chain Planner – Polyurethanes

About the role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Planner for our Polyurethanes (PU) team in Livonia, MI. You will be responsible for finished‑goods planning and finite scheduling within a batch manufacturing environment, supporting the Performance Materials division’s sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform finished‑goods planning and finite scheduling for batch production.
• Coordinate bulk truck scheduling for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Prepare manufacturing instruction documents (batch sheets) for operations.
• Manage dysfunctional inventory to maintain overall inventory health.
• Support inventory activities such as cycle counts and physical inventory.
• Create, maintain, and update master data as required.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure reliable supply and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field (preferred) with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or 6–10 years of experience without a degree.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP, especially production planning, raw‑material replenishment, material master maintenance, shipping scheduling, and inventory reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
• Effective teamwork and communication skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation.
