Logistics Technician (CDL) – Manufacturing

About the role

Join BASF’s Performance Materials division in Malcom, IA as a Logistics Technician with a CDL. You will ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials between warehouses and production plants, supporting the company’s sustainability‑focused manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate semi‑trucks and forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials.
• Deliver materials to production lines on schedule.
• Complete and manage paperwork for internal transfers.
• Band, shrink‑wrap, and label drums and containers.
• Use computer systems to track inventory and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (minimum).
• At least 6 months experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (preferred).
• Class A CDL certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb occasionally and work with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Class A CDL.
• Forklift operation (or willingness to be trained).
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and inventory tracking.
