Quality Systems Specialist

About the role

The Quality Systems Specialist will lead the implementation and sustainability of Nestlé Quality Management System (NQMS) at the factory level. You will coordinate internal audits, ensure compliance with food safety risk management, and drive continuous improvement across production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Keep process descriptions up‑to‑date in collaboration with process owners and verify reference documents.
• Analyze negative KPI trends, propose and communicate continuous‑improvement initiatives based on reports, audits and MRQ findings.
• Lead root‑cause analysis of incidents linked to core process activities.
• Maintain clear visualization and communication of NQMS throughout the plant.
• Organize and conduct internal audits, support regional audit plans, and manage results from international supplier audits.
• Audit local suppliers and arrange training sessions for areas identified for improvement.
• Support process owners in the Management Review of Quality (MRQ) and ensure follow‑up actions are executed.
• Communicate improvement needs in environment, health, safety and food safety to plant management.
• Act as backup for Hygiene and Quality Assurance Supervisors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering (industrial or related).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in food, pharmaceutical or chemical industry, preferably in a large consumer‑goods company.
• Strong knowledge of FSCC 22000:2010 (ISO 22000 + ISO 22002‑1) and ISO 9001 standards.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Practical experience with quality management systems and internal auditing.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and risk‑based compliance.
