Public Sector Solutions Marketing Lead

About the role

As the Public Sector Solutions Marketing Lead at Anthropic, you will design and execute the company’s marketing strategy for federal, state, local and international government audiences. You will position Claude as a trusted AI partner for policymakers and public‑sector knowledge workers, translating the benefits of safe, responsible AI into compelling messaging.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for public‑sector verticals such as federal agencies, state and local governments, defense, regulators and public utilities.
• Craft differentiated positioning and messaging for solution pages, campaign assets and audience‑specific content.
• Lead go‑to‑market activities for product and solution launches, including sector‑specific offerings and integrations (e.g., LMS platforms, nonprofit and research tools).
• Partner with communications to produce executive thought‑leadership on AI’s impact for underserved communities and drive flagship announcements.
• Collaborate with social and content teams to maintain a public‑sector content calendar featuring use cases, case studies and partnership news.
• Drive thought‑leadership initiatives, speaking engagements and events relevant to the public sector.
• Enable sales teams with compelling materials, outbound campaigns and pipeline‑building initiatives for public‑sector enterprises.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of the public‑sector ecosystem and its procurement processes.
• Proven ability to set vision and strategy while executing hands‑on marketing campaigns.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with sales, product, partnerships and communications.
• Strong track record of launching AI or technology solutions for government or regulated markets.
