Project Manager / Site Civil Engineer

About the role

Join CPH’s Community Development team in Tampa as a Project Manager / Site Civil Engineer. You will own the civil design and delivery of community projects such as parks, public works complexes, schools, airports and drainage systems across Florida.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site‑civil design from concept through permitting and construction.
• Prepare engineering plans, calculations, specifications and technical reports.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget and resource allocation.
• Obtain permits (ERPs, FDEP NPDES, SWPPP, grading, utilities, etc.) and ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Serve as primary client liaison, building relationships and identifying additional service opportunities.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams (planning, environmental, transportation, surveying).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of site/civil engineering experience.
• Proven experience managing site‑development projects and client relationships.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain quickly.

Required skills

• Site layout, grading, drainage, utilities and storm‑water design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
