Project Manager – Medical Communications (Remote)

About the role

The Lockwood Group is seeking a remote Project Manager to lead medical communications initiatives for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical‑device clients. You will oversee projects from concept through delivery, ensuring scientific accuracy, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and serve as the primary liaison with clients and faculty.
• Develop, monitor, and reconcile project budgets; manage external vendors and suppliers.
• Schedule and facilitate start‑up, interim, and final meetings; maintain detailed timelines and deliverables.
• Produce and review content for advisory boards, speaker training, and other medical‑education programs.
• Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders and client contacts.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a medical‑communications or related environment.
• Strong financial management abilities, including budgeting and expense tracking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting client and faculty relationships.
• Highly organized, able to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
