Project Management Tool Implementation Lead

About the role

The Office of Investment Management (OIM) of the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the selection and implementation of a new project and program management tool. The role involves coordinating stakeholders, building a roadmap, managing change, and ensuring successful deployment and adoption of the solution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a detailed process‑mapping workflow, including technical requirements, current and future‑state process maps.
• Draft and launch the Request for Information (RFI) and manage the subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP) with technical and functional criteria.
• Produce vendor evaluation documentation: evaluation framework, comparison matrix, recommendation report, business case, cost‑benefit analysis, and procurement evaluation report.
• Prepare executive status reports, project board presentations, KPI and adoption dashboards, benefits‑realization tracking, and risk/issue logs.
• Define a comprehensive project and program management framework covering governance, lifecycle, templates, workflows, reporting standards, roles, responsibilities, and tool administration.
• Collaborate with the selected vendor to create go‑live, UAT test, and deployment checklists, and oversee post‑implementation checks.
• Document standard operating procedures and compile a project closure report with lessons learned, knowledge transfer, and operational hand‑over.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Project Management or a related field (or equivalent combination of degree and experience).
• Minimum 5 years of proven project‑management experience with strong stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Successful delivery of at least one to three enterprise‑wide project‑management‑tool implementations (e.g., ClickUp, ServiceNow Strategic Platform Management).
• Experience working in highly regulated or financial institutions is desirable.
