Project Designer (Architecture)

About the role

Arquitectonica’s Miami headquarters is seeking a Project Designer to contribute to a diverse portfolio of luxury multi‑family residential, commercial, hospitality and mixed‑use projects. You will work on the front‑end of the design process, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to turn client concepts into detailed, code‑compliant designs.

Key responsibilities

• Receive project requests and produce initial design concepts.
• Collaborate with team leaders, colleagues and clients to ensure early‑stage design accuracy.
• Finalize drafting using 2D and 3D software, revisiting and adjusting designs as needed.
• Research and integrate artistic elements while maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with various professionals and departments to coordinate project details.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Architecture (preferred).
• 3+ years experience on multi‑family residential and commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of Florida building codes and structural design.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to identify and correct design flaws.
• Effective team player who can manage tasks for self and junior staff.
• Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with 3D design software – preferably 3ds Max; Rhino and SketchUp are also useful.
• Advanced skills in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of Revit is desirable.
