Project Architect – Public Sector Projects

About the role

We are a mid-sized architecture firm in New York City focused on public‑sector projects that improve urban communities. The role is full‑time and hybrid, allowing you to work on design‑driven affordable housing, schools, higher‑education facilities, and public assembly spaces from schematic design through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from schematic design through construction documentation and site administration.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure design quality and code compliance.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and client communications.
• Collaborate closely with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent qualification.
• 7+ years of professional architectural experience.
• Architecture registration preferred.
• Strong background in affordable housing and public‑sector projects.
• Proven ability to manage projects from concept to construction.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite.
