District Maintenance Supervisor – Contract Compliance

About the role

The District Maintenance Supervisor (Contract Compliance) leads the maintenance operations for the Special Services District, ensuring facilities are safe, well‑maintained, and compliant with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise district maintenance activities, including landscaping, parking lots, sidewalks, and storm‑water ponds.
• Oversee contracted security guard services, maintaining auditable training, testing, and certification records.
• Manage background‑screening and clearance processes for vendors and security personnel.
• Maintain and service security scanning equipment inventory, ensuring compliance with State of Florida Department of Health registration requirements.
• Support the Division Manager and the Orange County Security Committee in security‑related reviews and approvals.
• Provide administrative supervision and ensure independent judgment in daily operational assignments.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising facilities or maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of contract oversight and compliance procedures.
• Ability to coordinate background‑screening and vendor clearance requirements.
• Experience working with security equipment and related regulatory standards.
• Capacity to work independently under general supervision of the Division Manager.
